21 Day Fix in Real Time Review
Hello fitness lovers! This review is for the “Regular” and “Extreme” version of the new 21-Day Fix Extreme programs. They are similar in structure and nutrition.
I am now in the second round of 21-Day Fix Extreme (Real Time) and I have so many thoughts on it! I have completed 80-Day Obsession three times, P90x3 three times, T25 a few times, Liift4 twice and 21-Day Fix Extreme twice. It’s safe to say that I’ve been around the Beachbody block. ;) Here are my unbiased thoughts about the new programs!
21 Different Workouts
Something I absolutely love about this program is that there are 21 different workouts. This means that you are working out in real time with the cast and crew. This is great for multiple reasons. One, the jokes and the sayings won’t get old. Two, the cast and crew goes up in weight in real time so you have a good benchmark on where you should be at. Three, your muscles fatigue in new ways every day. Having a different workout every day is the best!
Nutrition
Like all of Autumn’s other workouts, this one comes with planned nutrition using the containers. The results are there. If you follow the counsel of the nutrition, the pounds will shed and you will feel so much better! The diet is focused on portion control and value of the food. You are allotted a lot of veggies and fruits. :)
I don’t use Shakeology. I am a millennial on student on a budget so I can’t spend the extra money on daily shakes unfortunately. I don’t think it is necessary to have Shakeology to get results, but it may work for you!
Time
I’m obsessed with the shorter workouts because I love layering Beachbody workouts with Peloton or other cardio workouts. 21 Day Fix Real Time workouts are just like the originals timewise. 30-40 minutes tops! You are working the whole time, so these workouts are perfect for busy people, or people that are just starting to phase exercise into their lives.
