DERMAPORE Ultrasonic Pore Extractor & Serum Infuser Review
I recently just purchased the Dermaflash Ultrasonic Pore Extractor & Serum Infuser from the Nordstrom sale. After seeing a few reviews, positive and negative, I decided to try it for myself. Nordstrom and Sephora both have killer return policies, so worst case scenario, it goes back to where it came from!
What does it do?
DERMAPORE is a 2-in-1 ultrasonic device that helps unclog pores and infuses serums, moisturizers and oils into your skin. Extracting mode (step 1) cleans pores, removes dirt, oil, and blackheads with high frequency vibrations.
In normal human terms— it vibrates the dirt, blackheads and zits out of their pores.
In Step 2, DERMAPORE penetrates active ingredients in your skincare products and helps them sink in a little deeper.
Does it hurt?
Absolutely not! This is a way better alternative for extractions as opposed to squeezing. One of the YouTube reviews for this product claimed that “it felt like she was being electrocuted.” This is so false, so don’t worry.
How to use:
This part is very important. Your face must be wet, sopping even. These helps the device work. It won’t do anything on dry skin so you’re better off not using it at all if you aren’t going to use it with a wet face. The tool is water resistant so you can use it in the shower. It isn’t “waterproof” so don’t submerge it.
Press the button once, it should start making a noise. Once your skin is wet, use the corresponding hand on each side of your face. The angle works better this way, so I don’t recommend trying to do the left side of your face with your right hand and vice versa. Work your way from the outside of your face to the inside.
