Discount Disneyland Tickets

The number one question I get: “Where can I get discounted tickets for my next trip to Disneyland?”

The answer is complex, because there isn’t a “cheap” way to get tickets. The cheapest way to get into Disneyland is to be a Cast Member, but this might not be a realistic option for you.

Discounted Tickets

One of my FAVORITE and most reliable ways to get tickets for Disneyland is from Get Away Today. This is the only deals site that I feel is verified and legit.

Get Away Today can save you $500+ on your next trip to Disneyland (and Universal Studios). All you have to do is click here and plug in the dates you want to visit the magical Disneyland Resort and boom! Check out the discounts. USE BJF10 for $10 off your tickets + other vacation packages.

Target

Did you know you can buy park hopper tickets from Target?

These tickets are discounted because they are true 3-day/4-day park hoppers with a consistent price which don’t fluctuate like the in-park prices. Plus, if you have a Target Credit/Debit card, but you can save 5% on your tickets. Bonus hack! Use your Target Red Card to get 5% off some gift cards for your upcoming trip. You can use them for anything at Disneyland + Downtown Disney.

Note: Be sure to purchase these right before you leave for your trip, dates vary.

Military Discounts

Right now, Disney is currently offering discounts for active military. If you purchase from now until December 18, 2019 you can get a 3-day park hopper for $178 or for $198 from January 1 through April 13 and April 23 through December 21, 2019.

Active service members and their spouses can purchase up to 6 tickets at their local military sales outlet. To use these tickets, the active military member (or spouse) must use one of the tickets at the time of going to Disneyland.

What constitutes as “active military?” Active or retired members of the U.S. military, including the National Guard, Reservists, the U.S. Coast Guard, the Commissioned Corps of the Public Health Service (PHS), and the Commissioned Corps of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA).

*This is always subject to change. Visit here for an up-to-date look at the policy.

Whatever you do, please don’t ask Cast Members to get you into Disneyland for free, especially if you don’t know them/haven’t talked to them in years. Cast members only get a certain amount of passes and they use them on their family and close friends, not someone that sat behind them in English class sophomore year of high school five years ago.
